NINO DRAY is a talent that generates innovative and meaningful ideas that not only solve problems but also have a positive impact on others. The multitalented entertainer double as a well known song writer ,digital marketer , creative director and content creator .
I heard NINO DRAY’S music for the first time while hanging out with some close friends. Prior to this, I had seen his name online a few times and came across some people attempting to spread messages through his music.His voice got me hooked immediately, and I had already attributed it to another star in Nigeria’s already vast musical tapestry. But when I learned the real identity of the person on the speaker, it planted a seed in my mind. I decided to explore his sound.
It’s great that we’re starting on this note because your music comes with a lot of emotion. Do you make music from a place of pain?
My music is inspired by the things I see everyday and stories I hear about the challenges people face especially in my country Nigeria .
You had a song with peruzzi and another with Bella how did that come about ?
It was grace and also my label as at that slim cartel music , God bless Carter for helping my life when all I had was dreams and hopes . He sponsored the whole projects and ensured I achieved what I wanted that that stage
Heard you went off for 2 years or so to do digital marketing and artiste management
Yeah I felt I needed to discover my real purpose and also discover my sound . I wanted people to stop saying you sound like this person or that person I needed to sound like Nino dray and also managing people thought me a lot about how to market an artiste , when to market an artiste and the power of consistency.
2025 you are one of those talents we really hope to see take over and we really wish you well . What are your plans ?
Honestly I want to focus on my self , my talent, my craft and brand . God bless friends like OBA CINO and NANDO WORLDWIDE , who persistently made me understand that I shouldn’t forget who I dreamt of becoming when we all started that helped me not to forget my self amidst the battles and hustle .
